Behavior Health Taskforce

The purpose of the Jamaican Diaspora Behavioral Health Task Force is to:

  1. Disseminate evidence-based information about behavioral health and wellbeing.
  2. Enhance and facilitate sustainable behavioral health services to individuals living in Jamaica through collaboration with Jamaican healthcare providers, government agencies, community organizations, schools, churches, and other relevant persons.
  3. Perform ongoing needs assessment for innovative and culture-sensitive behavioral health strategies for at-risk children and adolescents.
  4. Provide a forum for discussion, collaboration, and action among mental health professionals of the diaspora.
